Solna helps you organize coursework. We never sell your personal data. We do not use it for advertising.

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email, first name, school, whether you use Canvas, and signup date. Your email is used for sign-in codes. We store secure session records so you stay signed in.

Signed-in assignment sync stores course names, titles, deadlines, completion, study estimates, and import identifiers/notes. Your Canvas calendar feed link, busy periods, and study-hour preferences stay on the device; demo data does not sync. Your device keeps a local assignment copy for offline use.

If you enable reminders, we store the device’s push subscription and reminder preferences. Linked devices use your account’s unfinished assignment titles and deadlines to send reminders. Notification text can appear on your lock screen.

Who processes it

Cloudflare provides hosting, D1 storage, abuse protection through Turnstile, and reminder delivery infrastructure. Resend processes your recipient address and sign-in message to deliver the code. Your device’s push service relays encrypted notifications. These providers process necessary data under their own service policies. Network services receive technical information such as IP addresses.

Only the owner’s authorized admin account can view signup details. We do not give the admin signup dashboard access to your assignment list.

Retention and deletion

Account data stays until you delete the account in Settings. Deletion removes the live profile, assignments, sessions, and linked reminder records. Provider backups and email delivery records expire under the providers’ retention schedules. Offline copies on other devices cannot be remotely erased while disconnected; those devices lose account access when they reconnect.

Codes expire in 10 minutes and are removed after expiry. Sessions expire after 30 days of inactivity, with periodic reauthentication. Short-lived, keyed abuse counters are retained for up to 48 hours. Reminder records inactive for 90 days are removed.

Sign out hides the active workspace and revokes that device’s session when online. A device may retain pending offline changes for the same account to recover on a later sign-in. Clearing website data or uninstalling can permanently erase offline work. Deleting your account also clears its active and archived copy on the device used to delete it.

Your choices

You can edit your assignments, turn reminders off, sign out, or delete your account in Settings. Questions or corrections can be raised through the Solna support channel where you received access to the app. We will update this page when our practices change.
